“ Two Happy Feet”

Hi everyone,

I am happy to be back after 3 years 😁 I have missed everyone and I miss updating this blog site of mine so here it is. I am blogging again! Hope you are all well and healthy while you are reading this. I apologize if I have not written some blogs for the past years – but yeah in a nut-shell, life has been so awesome, it is not perfect but it’s still beautiful because like what I always say, the Lord has great plans for each and everyone.

Some of the many blessings is that, I now have is —- our little Aurora — she’s now 2 years old and yes I am now a full time mom and a housewife and we are still residing here in the UAE 🇦🇪 Praise God for His sustaining grace and we are still here, healthy and complete family.

But…

You know what?

WE DO NOT HAVE A LOVELY CAR, BUT WE HAVE TWO STRONG FEET ✨

This an actual scenario when we are having our grocery time and also having time to buy the ingredients — for us to be able to cook and re-stock for our Longganisa and Empanada business. We literally need to walk from our home 🏡 to the groceries (that’s the beauty of Abu Dhabi, this place is quite walkable) where we will buy our needs. We have our trolley in hand (that photo is the exact photo while we are walking and pulling the trolley, in fact, that’s Melvin’s feet in the photo) to help us carry the groceries. Sometimes, we ask ourselves, when can we have our own car? But like we always, ALWAYS go back to His Word that in His time we will have one. Besides, we have our 2 strong feet that can bring us from point A to point B. It’s more than enough to be GRATEFUL for.

And to make it more exciting, sometimes we have our Aurora with us, so we walk with her stroller 🥰 Still thankful because we have food on the table, a shelther, a healthy body, a loving family and a FAITH THAT CAN BRING us anywhere and yes it can move mountains too! There were things in this world that can make us sometimes think, am I not so rich enough? We may not have the many material things that most people has, but we are confident that God is richly providing for us, our every need and even our want. We choose to believe and claim that every day. This is a reminder for all of us that, we don’t need to focus on what you do not have but be grateful on what you have.

Highlight the blessing and the not the feeling of lack.

“ In all things, give thanks “
1 Thessalonians 5:18

Thank you for reading and may you be blessed today!

Love,

Mrs. Piza

My 100th Blog Post: Underserved Upgrade

Aloha! It’s been a long while since I’ve posted a blog. But here am I, blogging again and sharing a shed of hope, joy, inspiration and faith who is reading this.

And yes, this is a milestone in my life as a blogger because this post is my 100th post from the very beginning that I started blogging! 🙂 How awesome is that?! And where did all those time goes? I really thank everyone for taking time to read my blogs, I do pray and hope that in every words and life stories that I am sharing, I am able to touch your life in a very special and unique way.

100th-Blog-Post
A milestone indeed! Thanks for reading my blog post since day 1 🙂 We made it! This is my 100th blog post! 🙂  Hope to continually share my life journey with you all, all by the Lord’s grace 🙂

Actually, I’ve been thinking what will I blog for my 100th blog post and yes, the Lord gave me an experience worth sharing and truly mind blowing! 🙂 And it started last weekend, we’ll you see, I’ve celebrated my 33rd birthday last February 18, it’s a Sunday, but we celebrated it in advance in Dubai. We went to Dubai last February 16, Friday, and I was really looking forward to this, because my only prayer is to have a very good & relaxing rest during that weekend. We chose  Swissotel Al Ghurair, Dubai to be our home for the weekend ( Swissotel Al Ghurair, Duba )

We chose it because first, it is near to our place when we stayed in Dubai for the first 5 months of our stay here in U.A.E. Back then, we always see this hotel when we pass by the area, we normally see people coming in and out of that hotel, so we always wander and wonder how it feels to be there also to have a relaxation. And then the second reason is that, we chose the hotel because one of our godparents in our wedding which is,  Ninong Sam  & Ninang Imee and the their kids, and some of our friends from different parts of the world, was also check in there, to attend a BUILD conference!  🙂 So it was really very timely to  be there and celebrate my birthday with them, as me and my husband Melvin, relax and unwind for my birthday. And lastly, it’s my birthday weekend (in advance though lol ) so I am really looking forward to have a very good rest. Just to really recharge from everything and just take a break from the busyness of life. It’s good to just stop and take it slow some time.

So we arrived in Dubai around 10:30 AM that Friday and then we decided to eat our brunch in Jollibee! “bida ang saya!” and then we went to the hotel where we are check in that weekend. We we’re thinking if they can allow us for an early check in ( so we prayed and prayed that they’ll allow us )

As we enter the hotel, we we’re greeted by a warm smile from their  staffs, that made us more excited! When it’s time for us to ask, if there is an available room already that can accommodate us for an early check in, the staff said, there is none. So we just waited and do all the processes that needs to be done before checking in. Little did I knew, Melvin, handed over a small note, asking the staff, to put a welcome note and a happy birthday cake in our room. The hotel staff, checked the possibilities without me even noticing it.

After a few minutes of waiting and just hoping and praying that they will accommodate us, all of a sudden Ms. Irene, the General Manager, of the hotel came to us and introduced herself to us, and then she said ” Hello! I am Irene, the General Manager of this hotel, we just learned that it’s your birthday today, so we decided to upgrade your room without any additional charges!” The moment that we heard that, I just felt that my heart is jumping and it’s like saying: “like what?! Hahaha! are you kidding? ”  We originally booked the —  “Classic Room” –– which is the cheapest rate that we can find in the hotel, and then suddenly Ms. Irene told us that the room that they will give us is the “Premium Suite” – which is has the most expensive room rate!  And that’s crazy! 🙂  While she was accompanying us on the way up to our room, she was continually telling to us all the perks that we can avail during our stay at the hotel.

This includes:

  1. A special access to the “Executive Lounge” of the hotel! And we’re just wow! That’s a God- moment for us! It  means, we have access to a buffet from 2 PM until 11 PM at the Executive Lounge. which means, we will not spend a single penny for our food outside.

That’s me, checking out the food at the Executive Lounge 🙂

with Albert & Adalia Kids
Sharing this experience with them too! Our dear Adalia kids & dearest friend, Albert 🙂

  1. A early check in of 12 noon & late check out for the next day at 3 PM
  2. A welcome  basket of fruits & a birthday cake ( which we thought, Melvin will pay upon checking out but later on, we found out that it’s free
  3. A special letter address to me, given by the Director of Front Office & a personalized note from the Guest Relations Team
  4. We just paid the Classic room rate with breakfast but what the Lord gave to us —- it’s triple, the amount , of what we actually paid!

Upon reaching our room, she ended up, thanking us in choosing their property for us to stay.

Up until now, I don’t know how that happens, but both of us was really overwhelmed by the Lord’s surprise to me, to us! It’s like an “Undeserve Upgrade or Undeserve Grace” that the Lord has shown to us in a very tangible and mind blowing way!

And as I am writing this blog, I just felt that the Lord wants to know the every detail of our hearts desires even if it’s so impossible for us to have or to comprehend but if it’s according to His will, He will and He can give to us in His very surprising way! I just remember when we usually walk the area where the hotel was located, I keep on telling Melvin “Love, makakapag hotel din tayo dyan! Kaya ni Lord yan!” Indeed, the Lord hears our declaration 🙂

Sharing you the photos of our hotel Premium Suite! 🙂

hotel view
You can see from our suite the panoramic view of Dubai! A very relaxing sight to see!

Experiencing this kind of treat is really for the book! And just like what the Bible says: 10 But God shows undeserved kindness to everyone. That’s why he appointed Christ Jesus to choose you to share in his eternal glory. You will suffer for a while, but God will make you complete, steady, strong, and firm. – 1 Peter 5:10 – Contemporary English Version

We met a lot of friends in Dubai, and that was really an awesome time, for us to create memories with them.

Spent an afternoon with them too! 🙂

All in all, my 33rd birthday was full of God moment and awesome surprises!  I want to encourage you  all that,  if you are in a season right now that it seems like there is no ray of hope in sight, just endure and stay focus in Him. Your situation right now does not define your future so just believe and hang on there my friend and take hold of His Word which is: “ I remain confident of this:  I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. ” – Psalm 27:13

Until then my dear readers, do not hesitate to call on Him and tell your very personal prayers because hey, His a very sweet and loving God and He wants to see His children enjoy His love and His gift for you not only for a birthday present, but most importantly seek His presence in all the days of your life.

Gracefully 33 :)
Gracefully 33 🙂

Love you all! Appreciate all your greetings for me!  ❤ Toodaloo  my dear readers!  Until next time! Cheers!:)

Love,

Mrs. Piza

Where is My Green Pasture?

Hi to all my dear readers, from different parts of the globe! I do hope that you are all   in great shape while you are reading this. How’s everything? Is the winter season excites you because it just only means that, Christmas is here or for Filipinos like me, one signature of Christmas in our country is, the appearance of Putobungbong! 🙂 It’s a purple-colored dessert made of rice cooked in bamboo tubes. If you ask me, we’ll this year’s Christmas celebration will be much different from the usual Christmas celebration that we use to have, back in the Philippines, but it’s all good! My husband & I are looking forward to our first Christmas celebration here in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates! 🙂

melo

What I want to share for everyone right now, is one of the learning that we’ve really encounter or experienced the past months. And this is …”The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters.” -Psalm 23:1-2

This is one of the many bible verses that we hold onto, when times really get tough. In this life, that you and I have, I bet, it  just feels like you and I are on a  crazy roller coaster ride isn’t it? You don’t know what to expect or how will you handle your situation, whether it’s still being single for ages? or still looking for a job? or still looking for a business opportunity? or how to handle finances? or how to raise a Christ-centered children or a family?  Wherever you are in, know that, the God of the universe, makes us all lie down in green pastures. How will you know that it’s your green pasture that He has given you to nurture and take care of? We’ll dear, the fact that you are there in your situation, this is your time to, look around, breath in and breath out and ask for His wisdom on how to surpass it.  Let’s see, some practical ways of application for you … don’t deal with your problems alone. You see, no man is an island, so grab your phone, call a friend or be really transparent to your spouse. For sure, He will direct you to the right people who is willing to shed a light, rebuke or correct you in love and really guide you in your situation.  As for us, as husband and wife, we face challenges that sometimes literally make us fall on our knees & cry out to Him. It’s a great posture — a posture of humbling yourself to Him — and really surrendering it ALL to him.. LITERALLY. 🙂

My hope and prayer for you all, especially for this coming Christmas season, that we may not forget, the true value of why we are in this season. This season is about Him, and if you are asking Him about the green pasture in your life right now, we’ll just look inside of you … each one of us, has that  green pasture of reality, that’s the sparkle of hope because He is the one who will make us truly complete, happy and grateful that’s why we can continue to move on forward all by His grace.

That green pasture that I am talking about  is not the material things you have or you are praying for, the fame, the acknowledgements that you are getting from people,  it’s not how active you are in the ministry or in your the success in your career or business, it’s not also about your status, if your single or married — but it’s really the green pasture, that you can only find in HIM, that’s the peace and that security that is anchored by His word.  All these things that life can offer us is temporal so better yet, let’s all re- calibrate our hearts and focus unto Him as we enter this Christmas season. Prepare and offer all of You to Him.

Hope you are all encouraged and refresh my dear ❤

Until next time,

Love,

Mrs. Piza

When Someone Calls You, “KABAYAN”

Hi my Dear Readers,

How are you? I hope you are all in great condition as you read this latest blog post. Sorry, I’ve been away for a couple of months,  because of a lot of transitions & changes that me & my husband,  is continually facing as we are moving forward each day, all by God’s grace.

” But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me–and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.”  – 1 Corinthians 15:10

Where will I start? We’ll,  let me first all greet you, a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year Philippines! I am so sure that the song of Jose Mari Chan is playing again… “whenever I see girls & boys selling lanterns on the street, I remember the child, in the manger as He sleeps… ready sing!  🙂 The super long Christmas celebration is what I will definitely miss this holiday season, since we are not there but for sure, we will have a memorable Christmas in this country of U.A.E.

May tatalo pa ba sa Pasko sa Pinas? ang Kaligayahan ay walang kupas… 🙂

Speaking of location & place, we recently moved from Dubai — and now we are living in the capital city of U.A.E & it’s here in Abu Dhabi!

Abu Dhabi, The capital city of, United Arab Emirates

For the past months since we are living abroad, I can say that there has been a lot of ups & downs, experiences that really tested our faith in a different level that made us really cling on to God more because He is the ultimate source of everything & anything that we need or want in this life.

“Kita kita”

You may think that, this is all about the movie of “Kita-Kita” because of the word, “KABAYAN” but honestly, when I watched that, I can say that it has caught me, laughing & really touched, because the “Kabayan” word is really what we are using, to address our fellow Filipinos here in abroad.  I personally have used this phrase, when one time, I was asking for directions on the street of Dubai, I said.. ” Kabayan? Ah  Pwede ba magtanong?’ ..  Being an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), is very tough, but it is fulfilling,  because you get to see and experience things that you can only experience when you are out here, or you are literally, pluck out of your comfort zone which is your homeland. In a foreign land, where you can really interact & work with different races & nationalities, it is really cross-cultural and very diverse, you don’t have any direction to go but to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially & intellectually. Of course, you & I have our own choices, but when you are in an international platform, it means that the Lord has entrusted you so much, to impact a lot of people in your circle and be their light and encouragement wherever country God has put you in. You will be the living proof of the Lord’s faithfulness.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that[a] they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 5:14-16

camels
#ThePizasInJumeirahBeach under the heat of the sun! Actually, we are the photobombers of this photo, lol! 🙂 #ThePizas #CamelsInUAE ❤

Thinking about all that has happened to us for the past months in a foreign land like this here in U.A.E, it is a clear picture of how good our Father in Heaven is, — now let me ask you, what keeps you so busy today? Are you busy grumbling because you are so stressed to your work? — then let me say this, there are people out there who is jobless, so be thankful to your job, there is no room for you to complain; are you arguing with your spouse each day and you always love to pick up a fight? — then let me say this, if you are a husband and a wife who is always fighting each day, then you are just not hurting each other but most importantly, you are hurting our Lord, always go back to your first love and that is Jesus, be grateful for your marriage, you must not ruin it but you two should build that up as Christ be the center; are you focus on people’s recognition or promotion after promotion so that you will get the highest credit? — we’ll my dear ladies & gentlemen, God only has the power to promote someone, and all the credits is rightfully His, it is all by God’s grace, that is why you achieve that position, stay humble and have an ear to receive correction; are you the kind of person who feels like it is so hard to give or be generous whether in terms of giving,  extending a help in any kind or doing an extra mile without expecting something in return? — giving and being generous is an act of total surrender to Him, it should be a lifestyle. Your money, position or possession is not yours, but it’s His, you & I should be a good steward of God’s blessings & giving it all back to Him should not be an issue but a delight for you to do.

You & I have our own battles, maybe it’s the battle to FORGIVE yourself and FORGIVE others and then move forward period, sometimes being so stubborn and really selfish will make you blinded because of the lies of the enemy, that you chose to believe, forgive and be grateful each day because life is just a one big roller coaster ride so hold on tight to all of my KABAYAN’S because God’s plans is better than ours.

Until next time!

Love, Mrs. Piza

Desert Lands

” I will make a way in the wilderness & rivers in the desert. ”  – Isaiah 43:19

The month of June 2017, will finally close today, how’s y our first half of the year so far? Is it fun? challenging? a lot of transitions? learning and or growing? No matter where you are in, let’s all be thankful that we are still here, alive and reading this blog of mine 🙂

Desert lands, we have a lot here. It is a normal sight to see. It is beautiful and amazing. How majestic is the Lord to be the ultimate Master maker of these tiny kind of lands on this earth. In life, you and I  may experience that “desert feels” in our lives, those are the challenges, that sometimes let us all experience to be on the very rock bottom.

When you hit the very rock bottom, choose to look up and draw your hope from the positive things that has happened in your life.  Those are also the moments that the Lord can show His ways that is higher than our ways. It is the best and priceless encounter that can really make you say ” thank you” because you have brought us in this season.

This is for now fellas, I do hope that you will look forward for a more hopeful and beautiful days ahead of you! Blessings ❤

Love,

Mrs. Piza

A Start of Something New!

Hi there! I hope everyone is doing great. My husband, Melvin & I moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a new chapter in our marriage and life. ❤

internet city
An afternoon in Dubai, Internet City

Every bold transitions in life brings about newness and well… excitement at the same time. But sometimes, fear knocks in and tries to kill the joy in every change. I guess, all of us, have felt that kind of feeling,  right?  whether it’s in a change in career, status in life, status of your bank accounts, or yes, maybe you’re like us, you’re living in a different country.

Just like what the Bible says in every change of season in your life, learn to hear this and take hold of this “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. ” Isaiah 43:18-19

When you come, face to face, with this changes, it is best to first breath in and breath out and be thankful for the process that you’ve gone through, and then embrace the big change. It maybe hard at first because you are not living the way you used to live, a lot of adjustments — when you ask us, it is never easy. We have had a lot of choices or options, that can make our life a bit easier but still, we chose to take on the road, that we have not yet walk onto. It gave us a surreal feeling when we arrived here. Very priceless, a God-moment, we already knew a new chapter of our lives is about to unfold. Scary it may seem, but as the verse above says, God will do a new thing whether you are in the wilderness, in the river or in the desert. To walk on waters or in our case, to walk in the desert, is really taking so much sweat, it is exhausting or it might cause us a heat stroke..lol.. 🙂  but not everyone get the chance to walk the same road that each of us is taking right now. It takes FAITH to walk your own road. 🙂

Until next time fellas! thanks for reading my blog site. May the good Lord protect and bless you all always ❤

When Crossroads, Meets Decisions

March it is! Yey! 🙂 Before you start plotting for your summer getaways, especially when you are here, residing in the Philippines, let’s stop and ponder on how the past two months has been for you? Is it full of laughter? or tears? Victories or defeats? No matter what it has been, I pray that you will still have a joy to face this new month.

“Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. – Joel 2:14 ESV

I am sure, all of us will face a lot of crossroads and decisions. It’s a spice of life that is inevitable. This is where each of us grow as an individual. Crossroads that may sometimes leave us with so many questions. Or crossroads that can lead or give as a pathway to our long or short term dreams. In every crossroad, there is a decision for us to decide on. Decisions that is as major as, getting married to the man/woman you love, or it may be the simplest decision that you encounter everyday like, should I take a walk or should I take a cab? Let’s not be weary or stressed out when facing all of these things, God has given us the ability to decide wisely, ask or seek wisdom from people that you know, that can help you decide and make you see things in a different perspective.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ~ Proverbs 3:5-6

What if my decision is suddenly ,,changed by my boss? or by my friend? or by my spouse? What should be my initial reaction or response? We’ll, the truth of the matter is, people will always have something to say’ it’s a fact of life… — but always keep in mind and in your heart that no matter what, a decision is a God given chance for you to assess and really do something about it.

Embrace every crossroads & decisions in life. God is with you all the way! Have that desire to grow, learn, challenge, explore, and allow God’s work in your life through you, for you and to you in every crossroads and decisions 🙂

Until Next time fellas! 🙂

Giving Joyfully

Kung Hei Fat Choi to everyone who is celebrating the Chinese new year! 🙂 I hope you are having a great time. How’s your January so far? The first month of 2017 is about to end in a few days, so let’s continue to be excited for what God has in store for the next months.

Deuteronomy 15:10

“Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.”

Just want to share this verse to you. It is about giving generously. I am not only,  talking about, money but also time or even your acts of service, — I know sometimes it is hard to give especially when our wallet is on a “critical level”, or your time is so hectic but you chose to share your time still to people. Let’s all be reminded that giving is an act of obedience  to God, and giving back to God as well. God sees your heart and it is always a good way to check our hearts for our ability to give joyfully in whatever season we are in. And yes, you give, even without expecting anything in return, from the person that you blessed with.

Giving also elevates your faith in God because you are one way or another increasing your dependability on Him. I do hope that all of us will always be reminded of having that kind of character. Let’s all give generously, not only in material things but also let’s give LOVE, FAITH & HOPE generously to all the people that we are having a chance to meet or talk to. You may never know, what impact you can make to that person. By the way, if you are all thinking of what you can give to your loved ones this Valentines day, you might want to check out our  Valentines promo of our Ferrero Bouquets 🙂  See this link for the promo mechanics  https://www.facebook.com/flowerrobymelvinandlourdy/

Anyway, let’s spread generosity and love all year round fellas! 🙂

Until my next blog my dearest! Praying for a great weekend for everyone!

Love Mrs. Piza

“Moving On, Moving Forward”

Happy new year to everyone! It is already year 2017! Yahooo! 🙂 Praise God that we are all still here breathing, and yes, you …. you are so BLESSED because you are LOVED by GOD! 🙂

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22 -23 (NIV)

The Lord’s great love and compassion never fail each day and as we all face this new year, I pray that whatever hopes, dreams, goals or plans that you have this year, it will all come to pass, all in God’s will.

Moving on… Moving forward. I guess, we have all that hang-over feelings over all the get-together, Christmas parties, weddings, events or just simply having your dream vacation, for the past holiday season… it’s okay to reminisce and look back on those happy & positive memories that you have collected the past days, — it’s part of the cycle — but NOW is your TIME to MOVE ON & MOVE FORWARD in achieving your dreams and make it to a reality. NOW is the start of your FUTURE and whatever you do today will definitely bear either a good fruit or a bad fruit. So make the most out of what you can do today to make you a better person, a  great lover of His word, and of course, a doer also of His plans for your life. You may have a long list right now of your faith goals or the things you want to accomplish this year, but keep in mind that, it is the WHOLE PROCESS in attaining your goal, all of it matters. It will definitely make you grow and realize a lot of things in this world.

MOVE ON.. don’t stay in your past. Just like what the Bible says … “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! – 2 Corinthians 5:17″

So as you face this new year, bring along with you the hope that God gives you each day. Focus more on Him and not to the mountains that you are facing now.

MOVE FORWARD..enjoy each pacing that God has put you NOW. You may ask me, “how will I enjoy if my situation right now is really full of uncertainty?” .. we’ll LOOK unto GOD, He is the ONLY SECURITY that you will have on this earth. It can never be found to some material things, or the change of your status from single, to in a relationship,  to married, or  maybe “it’s complicated, or even having all the riches of this world — MOVE forward and take hold of His word in all seasons for this year. You can never go wrong when you are at His side.

As we all choose to MOVE ON & MOVE FORWARD this 2017, I pray that you will all be encourage to pursue Him even more this year! Don’t let the excitement die down because the Christmas feels is already done, let’s all choose to have that joy that comes from the Lord so that we can see & experience His purpose for our lives this year!

Happy new year again my dear readers! Enjoy your family time and I’ll see you again on my next blog! Stay tune 🙂

with much love,

Mrs, Piza 🙂

Submissive Obedience

Hello everyone! Before anything else, I just want to greet you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! 🙂

I know… I know … I have not been updating  my blog site for the past four months ( or so .. I apologize .. and for this, I want to make it up to you all lol 🙂 Here is my latest blog… ka -ching 😀  ) but now I am here! I do hope that you are having a great time during this holiday season!

What I want to share for you as I end my blogging for this year is about — Submissive Obedience — big word! 🙂 You see, it takes practice to submit and obey all at the same time… and nobody says that it will be as easy as eating your favorite chocolates and then whoala… you are happy!  🙂  Submission just like what the Bible says

Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. – Ephesians 5:21 ESV — it is a commandment of God so therefore, our hearts must be willing to obey Him.

In marriage for example, my husband and I have a lot of ups and downs – we do have some misunderstandings, and sometimes it’s hard for me to submit but then again, God has always reminded me that my husbands is not my opponent, but instead, he is my team mate — and as a team, we should work as one, body, mind and soul. It is easier said than done I know, especially if you’re husband has a high belief attitude lols. but thank God for the grace of God that I can see the beauty of submission. In terms if obedience, I admit that I am hard headed and I must always be reminded that it is more  brave to listen up and don’t talk too much about the problems, instead find solution to it. God is still working on me and on us — as a married couple, we are not perfect — in fact we don’t even come close near to perfect — but we praise God for the learning, correction, revelation, joy, grace, love, hope and faith that He has given us for this year!

Obedience is just like what the Bible says:

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground! – Psalm 143:10 ESV

I pray this for all of us that we may have a heart to follow His leading always. As we end this year 2016, let’s move forward to a new year which is 2017, and have a heart of obedience to God.  You may have a lot of failures, heartaches, breakthroughs, or even answered prayers this year, and sometimes you might caught yourself asking … ” have I obeyed you God? In  the way that You desire me to obey you? Or I have chose my own path? Your obedience to Him is not measured by all the YES” and AMEN” or the BIG BREAKTHROUGHS that came your way but it’s the overall seasons that you have experienced. It’s the fruit of the Holy Spirit that  was given to you, that enables you to experience the unspeakable joy in your heart!

Anyway, have a happy 2017 my dear readers! Thank you for taking time to read my blogs and hoping that I am able to share a encouragement, reminder, smile or happiness in your heart as I allow you to have a sneak peak in my life through this. May God shine above anything and anyone in our lives.

See you next year!

Love, Mrs. Piza 🙂
