Loving God & Life More At 31 :)

So how does it feel to be at the age of 31? That’s the first question that pops in my mind when I know and feels that this year will be a sign of my last day in the calendar Lol 🙂

Yes, I am 31 years old and I am proud of it 🙂 Why because it’s only once in a lifetime that you’ll get to embrace this age. Nothing to be ashamed or nothing to deny when someone ask me what is my age is. I thank God for this new year that He has given me. Another year to dream big, aim higher, new lands to conquer, a lot of fresh and new faces to see, prayers to utter to God, and a lot of faith to get by through this fast changing world.

How did I celebrate my birthday? A lot of surprises happened that day! I never thought that it will be like that. Thank you LORD for showing me how much you love me from the beginning of my 31 years of existence.

1 birthday

Surprised by my best friends, Uchie & her husband AJ, and Glo 🙂 Thanks my love for doing this! They are my gems! 🙂

birthday 4

And here we are! The 3 best friends! I’ve known this two since I was 13 😀 And now I am 31 I thank God for them because in all seasons, we chose to love, cherish, accept and really laugh out loud for whatever changes that we encounter in this lifetime! Cheers to more years! 🙂

I just want to encourage everyone that God is there in all the seasons of your life. If you feel that He has left you, or maybe He does not hear your prayer requests, again and again, choose to love Him more.

In my 31 years of existence… these are the life lessons or take home that I always live out:

  1. Being Thankful – -1 Thessalonians 5:18 “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”                                                                             I’ve learned and re learn the art of being thankful and grateful in every season. There are times that it’s hard for me to grasp what is happening or why is it not happening in my life now but again and again, God, in His sovereign power, always remind me to be always grateful and thankful for everything in anything because I am blessed. The fact that I am still breathing,  and I have a food to eat, it’s more than enough to be grateful in each passing day. Sometimes, these vital things we take for granted because we are too consumed to get this and get that, or I want this or that… 🙂  Hey, are you healthy?  if so… be thankful! It’s priceless to have a healthy body my dear readers 🙂

2. Conflicts and Resolutions – Proverbs 12:18 “There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword, But the tongue of the wise brings healing”.

In this life. Nothing is perfect. I too, have a lot of shortcomings, and I am far from being perfect. I know that for a fact. And in this life, I’ve encounter too many conflicts that sometimes bothers me or sometimes, I just choose to just shrug it off because it is out of my control already. I am surrendering those kind of moments to God. I let go and let God give me peace. Conflicts is just there. And when it is there and it started to give you worries, it’s time for you to take a break… inhale and exhale and see the bigger picture of the situation. It is not about you, or me but when conflicts arise, again and again, I go back to how God loves me and accepts me as His daughter. I’ve learned that in this life, people will really come and go, you will have conflicts but in the end, find in the deepest core of your heart the word ” LOVE” , “TRUST” and “FORGIVENESS” It is the Lord Jesus Christ who is the perfect example of the one who give it to us FREELY without expecting anything in return. In this life, always be on the look out and proactively share these 3 words and actively live it out. With this, your life can be much more lighter and more joyful!

3. A Joyful Heart is Always Good – “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. -Proverbs 17:22

Let’s all face it, as we all grow old… we sometimes forget to laugh and be joyful even the simplest to the most complex things that this life can offer. Hey, hey, hey, may I just remind you that being so serious in this life can sometimes give you head ache? Hahaha! So why not, smile and or even laugh 🙂 Life is too short to spend it with a frowning face is in it? God has created and given you this life for you to explore and enjoy!  So do not forget to smile or laugh please 🙂 Now your asking me, what if I have a lot of bills to pay, I don’t have a job, I still do not have my answered prayer’ or I still don’t have a suitor, or boy friend or girlfriend or even a spouse? or even a baby?   We’ll all these things shall be added unto you if you completely trust God, young men and young women 🙂  And may I remind you that you live this life not to look forward to what you can get from God or from the people around but what you can give back to God and to the people around you.

In this life, it is not all about what  you can get, or what benefits you the most…. it is more than that. Life is about giving back all the glory and honor to God 🙂 Life is all about giving and sharing your talents, skills, resources, time, effort and of course love in anything, in everything or to everyone that has touched your life. With that, you can truly say, you have lived a joyful and yet meaningful life. Do not let stress control you but instead, stress your stress’ LOL and let go and let God 🙂

Life is too short! Enjoy your season, embrace your trials, learn from your mistakes, get up and dream and make it a reality because God has only the best plans for you! Stay focus as you grow old.

And as for me, I am 31 years old…. thank you Lord! Indeed, you are faithful! Cheers to another years of growing, going, and glowing gracefully with and for the Lord! 🙂

Ciao! Until next time my dear readers! 🙂 May the good Lord protect, guard and bless you all abundantly way beyond your imagination! 🙂

2016 Moments To Look Forward To

2016 Moments To Look Forward To

Good morning everyone! Ayay! So sorry I was not able to blog last month but hey I am again here, ready to share my thoughts, experiences, encouragement and a lot more!

2016 is here and before I forgot, I want to greet you all a happy new year! it’s better late than never 😀 And I also want to greet you all an advance Happy Chinese New year for all our Chinese friends or Filipino-Chinese out there! Let’s all spread the joy and cheer that every new year brings!

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”  Psalm 90:12

I just want to encourage you all with this verse as we all start our year, that we may all see each day, as a gift and a chance to embrace God’s goodness. We may be so busy of so many things, a lot of responsibilities to fulfill, a lot of meetings to pull off and or you have a gigantic mountain in front of you… asking you to climb that mountain or not — these things are blessings. Blessings because God has given all of us the power to overcome all of those with His leading and direction ahead of us. Do not make this year a year of it’s all about me” or it’s because of my talents, skills, my work ethics, etc… — always go back to the Cross — He is the one who has given You all of these things.

Say this to yourself…. that 2016 will not be my year.. but this year will be a God’s year! I pray that as we all have this fresh hope, joy and faith this year… we will never forget to acknowledge and be grateful to God in what season we will be in this year of 2016!

2016 will be a year of moments for you to savor each learning, victories, pains, struggles, strength, grace, forgiveness, humble heart,  a heart to be corrected, challenges, joy, faith, prayer, breakthroughs, and of course LOVE LOVE LOVE! Life is such an awesome ride to take if you will just let it’s twists and turns be as it is and allow yourself to take the challenge and DARE TO LIVE because God’s plans is awesome and exciting with all this surprises that awaits you this 2016!

Until next time! seize this day and start to be a blessing to someone! God bless you all  🙂

Love, Mrs. Piza 🙂
