Keep Going, Keep Running, Keep Moving, Keep Praying

Oh Shoes, Broken! :)

Oh Shoes!! 🙂

Hello everyone 🙂 I do hope you are all in good condition as you all read this 🙂 We’ll what’s with this broken shoes I got here in my photo for this blog entry? No it’s not the lost shoes of Cinderella or the red shoes of Dorothy of Wizard of Oz’  ^_^ It’s my shoes and it had to retire after so many years!  So what’s with this shoes that made me realize so many things in life?

First, that I am still blessed even if at the middle of the street while I was walking, I realized that this shoes had a small hole already that’s the reason why when I was walking, I am feeling the heat of the road already 😀 So funny! I am blessed still because I have feet, where I can still walk and run around.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”  — Isaiah 52:7

Sometimes, we tend to forget to thank God when the going gets tough. We overlooked the bigger blessings that we already have.

Second, we all have our own holes in our hearts. It’s a hole wherein no one or nothing can replace except  JESUS. As I walked with a shoes that’s literally broken, I realized how vital that hole is, it’s vital because it’s a reminder that you cannot be complete without Jesus in your life. And as we walk in this life, we will encounter many breaks, holes, uphills and even mountains that we need to surpass and without Jesus in our life, we cannot go anywhere. Our life will be meaningless, lifeless.  Jesus is Life.

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. — John 6:35

Third,  that we must go and work for God’s glory always, to wherever God has put you whether in the corporate world, in a business, in media, in banking & finance, in the ministry or to wherever God has put your feet on. You must cultivate it and be a good steward of the land that God gave you. Work hard. Pray harder. Do not merely say, it’s always by faith’ …  remember faith without doing anything is another story. It’s as if you are waiting for a mango to fell in your lap after a whole day of just sleeping around. Work with excellence for God and not for men. Honor God with your wealth because God has given you the ability to produce wealth. Seeing my shoes with a hole when you turn it upside down 😀 , makes me wonder and think how can I have a new pair of shoes? 🙂  It’s challenging to walk with that kind of situation of a shoes, but I know that I can have a new pair of shoes because with God, I can do anything 🙂

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.  — Philippians 4:13

And yes, that’s the tale of a broken shoes of a young lady 🙂 I do hope that you are all encouraged to still go and take the challenge because this life is about Going, Running, Moving and Praying  even when your shoes is not in shape 🙂   Have a happy Thursday everyone! God bless you all 🙂

Are You Ignoring God’s Warnings?

Are You Ignoring God’s Warnings?

Are You Avoiding God's Correction? Or Simply Are You Avoiding God?

Are You Avoiding God’s Correction? Or Simply Are You Avoiding God?

Don’t ignore the warnings. God’s not trying to keep you from your dreams; He’s trying to keep you from heartache.

We all have dreams, aspirations and goals. Some desire children, a spouse, a family, a Ph.D, wealth, to become a great speaker, to be an Olympian, an athlete, a doctor, an engineer, a teacher, a musician, an actor or actress. Each person has a gift hidden inside of them that’s constantly tugging, pulling, moving and kicking on the inside ready to birth purpose.

God wants the very best for His children. He gave His very best to die for our sins, Jesus, so why would He want you to have or be with anyone  and anything less than who He is. He says, ” I refuse to allow you to settle, to be mediocre. It’s an insult to my goodness.”

He rewards those who earnestly seek Him;  not for stuff, not for a mate, not for a job but for His heart. ( Now inhale…. exhale … I want you to absorb everything that I said here … breath in .. breath out 🙂 )  So ask yourself this ” Am I seeking after His hand? Am I seeking after something that only He can give me?

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. – Matthew 6:33 ESV

The Bible says too  …   For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

—  Jeremiah 29:11 NIV … Kindly re- read this verse but this time replace the pronoun  “you” with your name. Whenever you feel down, disappointed or helpless return to that verse.

God’s vision supersedes our natural eyes. His thoughts and ways are more supreme than ours. Stop trying to want somebody who don’t want you, or stop being so caught up with the ‘feeling of being in love’  and just feeding your own emotions and desires. That’s not what love is. Love is not a feeling. It’s a decision and a commitment to God and to that person that God chose for you. Stop trying to fix what what’s behind you. God is omniscient. He knows your desire. He knows your needs. Why would you throw a pity party because someone don’t want you? Or someone you like is not the one God wants for you? Are you willing to obey if that’s the case? Or over a job that didn’t hire you, or over a friendship that suddenly ended.

God always gives warnings before destruction and sometimes He allows us to go through our decisions to teach us. Start thanking God for the things that ended, or maybe things that should be ended now, and for what did not work out because He was protecting our ignorant selves. When one door closes, He has another and it may be the right one for you.

Be wiling to listen, obey Him always.

Happy Wednesday Everyone! 🙂

Ongoing Wedding Preparations God is for Marriage

Being joyfully engaged to the man I truly loved is one of the most important highlights in my life. And yes, we are still preparing for our wedding day! I am just really thankful to God for this season.

Every time we are asked how are we? Or how is our wedding preparations going? We always thank you for all your thoughtfulness and prayers. Preparing for a wedding day is really exciting, fun, sometimes tiring too but we always remember that God is the one who put us in this season so we just really savor the moment of preparing.

More than the wedding day, we are more excited and preparing for marriage. A wedding is a one day special event that is our doorway to our next season and that’s marriage. We know and we believe that God is the one who will be glorified in our wedding. His glory will be magnified even more on that day.  It is not about us. It will never be about us. It’s about Jesus.

As a soon-to-bride, I am excited to wear my wedding gown, walk down the aisle and finally say my wedding vow. To declare my love for God above all, to declare my Love to the man I love whom God chose for me to have and to hold. And to really show and share that love to the world. Spread His light and love. After all the preparations and the wedding day, we look forward to a marriage that  will continually put God at the center of our lives and desire His will and heartbeat to be our lifestyle as husband and wife.

For now, we are really savoring the moment of choosing our suppliers, and of course, praying and doing what we can do to be able to save and really work hard and pray harder. Without works, faith is dead.

24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. – James 2:24 (ESV)

18 You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Deuteronomy 8:16 (ESV)

God is for marriage. And we are trusting and believing God’s plans to prevail in every details of our wedding day and married life. This season is about God’s faithfulness and power. And it is also a time of getting to know God even more. It’s faith stretching to a different level, it’s a time of experiencing His love, God’s molding in His likeness in different situations and just really making every moment count. God is Good and He forever faithful!
