31st Day: A Mark of Your Faithfulness

Hey, it’s the last day of the month of May, and what can I say about this month? REMARKABLE! Why? We’ll because in this month, I’ve had my share of answered prayers … and one of my long time prayer has finally come true and was fulfilled last May 17, 2014 and I am now  joyfully engaged to the man that God desires for me to have and to hold, to trust, to understand, to accept,  to forgive, to cherish, to serve, to respect and to love to the fullest … and I will do it all with all my delight and that’s Melvin 🙂

it’s not about us, it will never be about me and Melvinour story is all because of God and about God’s divine orchestration …  🙂 We will always be thankful and humbled before Him. Without Him, we are nothing.

And for those who haven’t read our love story orchestrated by our Father in Heaven, here is the links wherein you can read our full story:

We’ll this day has been extra special for me since last year because 1st, this was the day that I said YES’ Melvin when he asked me if I can be his girlfriend. Now, we are celebrating our 1st Anniversary!  Yey! All glory to Him! We are celebrating it not us boyfriend – girlfriend but in a new season and that’s being joyfully engaged! 🙂  Because the joy of the Lord is our strength! 🙂

Thank you Lord for Your faithfulness! I am in awe. And yes, just like what has been happening this past days, it has been raining (all of a sudden) I guess, the weather is also transitioning from summer to a rainy season! 🙂 And as I research the meaning of transition in the dictionary, the Latin meaning of the word Transition is: Origin:
1545–55;  < Latin trānsitiōn-  (stem of trānsitiō a going across, equivalent to trānsit us (past participle oftransīre  to cross; cf. transit) + -iōn- -ion — or to make it more simpler, ” a passing from one key to another or in one word “Change’ 🙂 And all of us are undergoing that kind of Change in all seasons. It’s part of life and it’s one of the reasons why life is so mysterious and full of surprises. Sometimes, you might think that there’s nothing going on in your life or you are not noticing any change in you … but guess what, God is changing us from glory to glory! Isn’t exciting?! 🙂  Questions … a lot of questions and million of questions must be running on your mind … maybe you are on a crossroad of life right now and you don’t know what road to take … or what’s your next move will be … but hold on tight, those questions are ALL ANSWERED by Him.  Just believe, trust, do  your work with obedience in His word and leading — Because God is the answer for everything! It’s easier said than done, some may say that to you.. but always remember that the only voice that you must hear and obey is the voice of our Father in Heaven.

And as I say goodbye to this month of May, I just want to say, thank you Lord for it has been a month of full surprises, a lot of challenges too, I have lost 2 dearly friends that had finally went home to our Father in Heaven — a truly shocking and sudden event that really put us on a season of mourning but as you said on your word … You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, – Psalm 30:11 .. — and for whatever had happen, I believe and still choose to worship and thank you God because You are faithful always.

I am looking forward for new and really exciting times ahead. And Yes, 31st is our 1st Anniversary! I love you my dear fiance’ Melvin 🙂 Know that I am so blessed and thankful for you! And as we had celebrated our 1st Anniversary earlier today, it’s been busy but fun 🙂 Glad you love the food I cooked for you today! 🙂

31st may seem the end of the month for some but for me, 31st will always remind me of His awesome, special and amazing faithfulness in my life! 🙂

Psalm 71:21-23 7
21 You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.22 I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.23 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you- I, whom you have redeemed.

May I?

Allow me to blog this new entry … “May I?” It’s the 1st day of the month of May and it’s getting hotter and hotter everyday! Summer heat is really here! 🙂 I am looking forward to a relaxing time at the beach. I guess, this is like the late 29ers old syndrome (Hahaha! okay, I am just making out some words here LOL) May I ask just a little more patience? Like a 1000000 times more patience … as in extended patience on so many things. It’s a fact that you will never stop waiting. It’s the season that changes but as you continue this journey, you will always always have to wait. Like for example, you just moved out and and you finally decided to go on  solo, the next big thing that you have to wait is on your maybe your car — you have to wait and work hard and pray harder to have that car  — so you see? We will never stop waiting. And it’s really God who sustains us as we wait on Him completely in all the seasons of life.

May I say this personal observation: I have encountered so many questions … I guess, same old questions that always have the same answer. Sometimes, I just want to record my answer then push the play’ button so that I will not answer the same question again and let my recorded voice answer the question Hahaha! It’s really tiring. Yes it is. But by God’s grace, I am always answering all those questions with so much grace. I am so sure that you have your own share of same repeated questions that you seem to encounter everyday …  Isn’t so funny but really tiring :)) I am just always reminded that God works in seasons. That  all our questions are answered by  YES & AMEN’  in His perfect divine will and beautiful time.

There are choices that you have to decide on everyday. From the simple decision to the major decision in your life. And both of it requires a lot of faith. MOVING FAITH. Big word isn’t it? As what the Bible says:

Mark 11:22-24

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.  “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
See? When you have faith, it requires movement and obedience and complete trust. We are all created with all our unique characteristics, talents, and gifts that God entrusted to us to do what He desires for us to do in this whole lifetime. We are here to first and foremost, bring glory to His name always. make His name known (not us or not you and me ..  .. it will never be about us… this life is for Jesus alone, let that sink in for awhile my friends 🙂  )
May I say …  today is a holiday because it’s a labor day! Hooray for all the hard working Filipinos here in the Philippines and abroad! Kayo ang mga buhay na bayani ng bansang Pilipinas! May I say … work with all the joy in your heart because God gave you that work for you to enjoy and be a channel of blessing in all aspects of life.  You and I are working for God, not for men.
Believe and surrender in His great and awesome plan in your life 🙂
